KPV is a tripeptide fragment of the alpha melanocyte stimulating hormone (alpha MSH), consisting of the amino acids Lysine Proline Valine. It is widely studied for its strong anti inflammatory, antimicrobial and immunomodulatory properties, especially in research focused on gut integrity, skin inflammation and immune balance.
